What the platform does

R.E.V.I.V.E. Saint Marc Savings helps the residents of Saint-Marc plan, record and follow their savings in one place. Members open a personal account, set savings goals such as school fees, a market stall or an emergency fund, schedule regular contributions and see every deposit and withdrawal request in a clear activity feed. Balances, goals and statements are calculated in Haitian Gourdes (HTG) so the numbers match the money people actually use. The platform also runs R.E.V.I.V.E. Rewards, a non-cash loyalty programme: members earn points by reaching savings milestones and exchange them with local partners for internet access, school supplies and other community benefits. Points are never converted into cash and never earn interest.

Who it is for

The service is designed for the residents of Saint-Marc and the surrounding Artibonite communities: market vendors, teachers, farmers, students, diaspora families sending money home, and small business owners who want a simple, transparent way to build a habit of saving. Because the app runs in an ordinary phone browser, it suits members who are at ease with WhatsApp and mobile money rather than desktop banking.

Who builds it

R.E.V.I.V.E. Saint Marc Savings is built and operated by the R.E.V.I.V.E. team based in Saint-Marc, Haiti, with input from local members, savings groups and community partners. The team is responsible for the platform's design, member support and the rewards partnerships. Deposit and withdrawal services stay switched off until a licensed banking partner completes its compliance review and authorizes them; the team will announce the activation of savings services on this site and by email.
